Absalom's death

2 Samuel 18:1-19:8

Absalom's death was God's just judgment, the occasion of excessive grief, the best thing for the nation, and a dreadful end to which to come. Solemn things! At the end, however, we will see how the Cross of Calvary offers hope to all who will cease from their rebellion and humbly seek God's mercy.
