Matthew 22:14

Jesus finishes his parable of the wedding banquet by saying that 'many are called' - called in the sense of invited - 'but few are chosen'. We focus first the identity of these two groups, touch on the size of them, explore the relation of God to them, and then bring ourselves into the picture.
