God's inheritance in his people

Ephesians 1:11-12

As the Bible takes up the theme of God's people as God's inheritance it tells us that it is so (that we are his inheritance), it explains to us how it has happened (through the fulfilling of God's plan), it gives us a glimpse of what this inheritance is to God (something rich and glorious), and shows us the ultimate reason for it (the praise of his glory).
