Jesus, our great Physician

In relation to the sicknesses with which we are afflicted Scripture here (Isaiah 53:3-4) and elsewhere (Matthew 8:17, for example) sets Jesus before us in four distinct lights: as an observer, as a healer, as a sufferer, and as a deliverer.
