Numbers 21:4-9; John 3:14-15
Jesus' words in John 3.14-15 teach us that in the ancient story recorded for us in Numbers 21.4-9 we have a picture of the Cross - of the background to the Cross, of the meaning of the Cross, and of the power of the Cross.
