We endeavour to learn from this massacre by zeroing in on the four individuals that, besides Saul, feature prominently in the narrative (David, Ahimelech, Doeg, and Abiathar), and seeing what their experiences and actions have to say about Christ, his persecuted people, and those who persecute them.
