The Lord's delays

John 11:5-6

Jesus' decision to stay where he was for two more days when he heard that  Lazarus was sick raises the subject of the Lord's delays. We consider what they often mean, how difficult they can be, why there are such delays, how they are only for a time, and how they are the fruit of love.
