Fleeing the city

2 Samuel 15:1-37

David is fleeing the city of Jerusalem. We consider the reason (it's because of Absalom's rebellion), reflect on the spirit in which he makes his flight (with quiet confidence and humble submission), and note certain things he does as he leaves (how he prays and gives directions).
